When:
Rehearsal Clinics - Monday March 20th & Wednesday March 22nd at 3:30pm
Formal Audition - Friday March 24th at 4pm
Where:
In the Fallbrook High School Dance Room (rm 303), located at the back of the Bob Burton Theater
What to Expect:
At the rehearsal clinics, students will learn typical dance team choreography and rehearse dance technique skills. The rehearsal clinics are fun and low-stress, meant to be similar to a typical dance class. Dancers should wear all black dance or athletic attire, bring dance shoes, athletic shoes, water and a healthy snack for energy.
The content learned at the rehearsal clinics will be formally assessed by judges at the Formal Audition. Dancers will showcase their individual skills as well as what they have learned at the clinics. They will perform for the judges in small groups.
Once placements are finalized, they will be posted on the website.
Who should audition:
Anyone and everyone is encouraged to audition! Auditions are for placements in all of our levels of dance at Fallbrook High School!
- Beginning/Dance I dancers who want to move to Adv/Dance II next year
- Dancers who want to join Dance Team (Performance or IB)

What is FHS Dance Co.?
- Dance Co. is a group of dancers who are in the FHS Dance Program.

What is IB Dance?
- IB Dance is the most rigorous dance course being offered at FHS.
- It is for 11th & 12th graders with advanced or performance dance experience.
- Prerequisites: either Advanced Dance, Performance Dance, or by audition.
- IB dancers will be placed in the same class period as performance dancers and IB dancers.
- IB Dance will have rigorous research, writing, choreography, and performance requirements.
- Dancers in this class dance frequently at school performances such as back to school night, pep rallies, football halftimes, holiday parade, winter/spring showcase, etc.
What is Performance Dance?
- Performance Dance is the class period during which the FHS performance Dance Team practices.
- It is open to all grade levels by audition only.
