Cheer Tryouts Link
General Information
- FHS Cheerleading is a year-round commitment with a Football Season, a Basketball Season, and a Competition Season.
- We hold tryouts in the Spring for the following year's teams.
- Tryout dates are usually announced in the beginning of March, with a week-long tryout taking place in the first week of April.
- Practices start in April and run through the Summer into the following school year.
- For anyone interested in joining the 24'-25' team next April 2024, the requirements are as follows:
- A sports physical and athletic clearance on file with the FHS Athletics Department
- Good academic standing (2.0 and above)
- TWO academic teacher recommendations
- A completed cheer contract
- Attendance at the pre-tryouts parent meeting
- Attendance to all days of tryouts week
