Principal's Update
February 10, 2010 Dear Parent/Guardian and Student: I am pleased to announce Fallbrook High School will soon be hosting its annual Open House event.
Students will be dismissed at 12:01 p.m. to allow time for our FHS staff to prepare for the evening. The focus of our Open House is "Information and Presentation." Teachers will be assembled in the gymnasium by department and will have program options, course curriculum, textbooks, and, in some cases, student work on display. In contrast to Back to School Night held during the Fall, this event is not designed for parents to speak with teachers on an individual basis about their child's progress; rather, it is an opportunity for parents to learn more about programs offered, course content, the difference between core classes and electives, and how these correlate to high school and college requirements. In addition, representatives from our many campus organizations and clubs will be on hand to provide insight into campus life at Fallbrook High. School Site Council will also be holding an election to fill two (2) vacant parent member seats. Interested candidates should complete the biography information on the reverse side of this letter.
